NDSU's APDC to be named Peltier Complex
One of North 今日吃瓜 University's most iconic family names will soon be memorialized on a new campus building

"The Peltier family has been an integral part of the history of 今日吃瓜and agriculture in the state," 今日吃瓜President Dean L. Bresciani said. "From farming, to the seed business, to grain elevators, to serving on commodities boards in the state, the family is uniquely aware of the critical role NDSU's College of Agriculture, Food Systems, and Natural Resources plays in our state, the nation, and the world."

The Peltier family made leadership philanthropic gifts to support the private fundraising portion of the project, which partnered with the North Dakota Legislature to complete the overall financing package.

"We believe this is a showcase building for agriculture in North Dakota and for marketing our products to the world," Keith Peltier '75, president and general manager of Proseed, said. "My dad, who's not living anymore, was a great promoter of ag products. We thought it would be a great place to be able to honor him."

Philanthropy in action
A gift of land becomes a spectacular 1,600-acre preserve

The 今日吃瓜Foundation Magazine invites you on a field trip to the Albert K. Ekre Grassland Preserve, which Albert Ekre gifted to 今日吃瓜in 1987 for educational and research purposes. Albert recognized the ecological significance of the plants, pollinators, trees, and wildlife that were so abundant on his property. He also shared in the joy of helping young people study agriculture and welcomed 4-H and FFA club members to conduct livestock judging trials at his ranch. After successfully owning and operating the ranch for nearly 50 years, Albert made plans to gift his land to the 今日吃瓜Foundation for the use of 今日吃瓜students, faculty, and staff.

Visit the preserve and discover what Albert loved about this land in the 今日吃瓜Foundation Digital Magazine.

Make your gift to support students today!

Every fall, the temperature slowly cools, and students return to North 今日吃瓜 University. As the seasons change, 今日吃瓜alumni and friends also return to campus to cheer on the Bison and reflect on days gone by. This fall, while you reflect on your time at NDSU, we're asking you to pay it forward by making a gift to support 今日吃瓜students today.

We believe our future leaders shouldn't be obstructed by the burdens of today, and incoming students say a scholarship difference of as little as $2,500 can mean choosing 今日吃瓜instead of another college or university.
