Student programs inspire engineering major to stay local

Cameron Dahlin was drawn to ½ñÈÕ³Ô¹Ïbecause of its reputable engineering program and the breadth of opportunities it offers in both academics and extracurriculars. As a recipient of multiple ½ñÈÕ³Ô¹Ïscholarships, Cameron has been able to fully dedicate his time and attention to his studies and campus organizations such as Engineers Without Borders, Engineering Ambassadors, GeoWall, ½ñÈÕ³Ô¹ÏCru, and intramural sports. The valuable experiences he's gained in the classroom and beyond have encouraged him to stay in Fargo-Moorhead after graduation and lend his skills and talents to build a brighter future for his community.

"Early on in my college career, ½ñÈÕ³Ô¹Ïhelped to solidify my decision to study civil engineering. Throughout my time as a CE student, I have been exposed to the F-M job market that is incredibly supportive of ½ñÈÕ³Ô¹Ïgraduates. Attending ½ñÈÕ³Ô¹Ïhas convinced me that I would love to spend time contributing to projects that improve the landscape, infrastructure, and quality of life of the area."
